TAX FREE WEEK for PREPAREDNESS: Have each state declare a week or two each year where preparedness items are 'tax free' similar to tax free back to school week.  Some states are already doing this. Let's encourage all of our states to do it and coordinate the timing for a national 'tax free' week.

AMBASSADORS:  Bring this concept to the 'grass roots.'  Identify 'Preparedness Ambassadors' in each state.  Can be a celebrity, sports figure, political figure, or just a cute kid - who is featured as the state Preparedness Ambassador and works with other state Preparedness Ambassadors continue to spread the word about preparing for disasters.
