We could add a lot of information regarding emergency management in our fire department newsletter. This would be a fast and cheap way to reach all the residence of our fire district and they could keep the newsletter posted on the fridge or a board in their households. We could include pocket size information for them to put in their wallets and purses and had to the kids for their school backpack. We could also teach classes on emergency management at our fire department facility free to the public. We currently teach first aid and cpr and this topic could be added easily not only for the district residence but for the whole community. I also post the CERT flyers in my apartment complex.
