Immediate and Permanent Post-Disaster Housing
Global areas ravaged by natural disasters are typically inundated with temporary, disposable housing such as tents or mobile homes. While shelter is an immediate concern, it does not need to exhibit these qualities. Post-disaster housing can be both immediate and permanent, but also disassembled and relocated.
Factory-Built steel frame modular buildings can be constructed to withstand hurricane-force weather and extreme seismic activity. An inventory of standardized floor plans can be stored until needed but with an annual production capacity of +1 million square feet of living space from our facility, large blocks of quality, permanent housing can be habitable swiftly and effectively.
Single story, mid-rise or high-rise configurations allow for a populous density as opposed to the enormous amount of real estate required by typical disaster housing. Common facilities, such as bathrooms, kitchens, HVAC units, and fire protection systems are installed at the factory in a fashion that utility connections are far faster to complete given the limited quantity of hook ups. National and International Building Codes are achieved allowing our units to be shipped anywhere in the world while truck and ocean vessel shipments are tried and true.
