We are working on making our CERT training totally mobile. We have our DHS training trailer and have used it in many towns in our area. But our area is very rural and often, folks in outlying areas can't get in to where the classes are held. As the county CERT director, I want to make our DHS CERT trailer a self contained unit. It already contains all of the materials for a training, medical, fire, search and rescue. But I'm talking about adding 6, 8 foot plastic folding tables, 20 folding chairs and a generator so that we can set up in a hay barn if that's what it takes to get our neighbors ready.
