Keep it under wraps!!!

Preparing our Communities Before a Disaster Strikes

My Idea is very simple and easy to understand. You know as well as I do every year FEMA has to worry about natural wildfires, and man-made wildfires, especially in the California State area. My idea is sort of similar to bubble wrap for book shipping but for homes.   A fire retarded material that you can wrap around a home (similar to how you would bubble wrap something) you prep  the home wrap before the fire hits then after the fire passes through you will remove after post fire situation. That way when FEMA and other emergency organizations say the home owners need to evacuate (which they still will do) their homes will be wrapped temporarily with this fire retardant wrap keeping the fire out and the home intact.

  • This will save 1000’s of homes per year from being burned down.
  • Keep you from cutting huge checks to the home owners when it is considered a national disaster.
  • Save billions of dollars in a 10 year period.
  • FEMA WRAP (catchy name huh) will save peoples hopes and dreams.
  • Insurance companies will lower rate which will make everyone happy.
  • You can contract a deal with the national fire departments because these will also work with homes that are close together  where fire spreads to the homes or business that are very close together but not attached.
  • Also deal with contracts with other countries so you can have a monopoly on the FEMA WRAP idea.
  • Only drawback is nothing like this is 100% guaranteed but with the proper research and development saving 98% would be the goal but 98 people out of 100 are a lot of happy people.

I could go on about details but I wanted to keep it simple and short but I think your organization gets the just of my idea.

Thank You,
