Normally, we leave it up to community government to get the "do's and don't's" to the population about disasters.  I feel we need to go one step farther and ensure large apartment complexes (condos, gated communities, etc) get the information "first-hand".  For instance, in NJ, their is a company that calls themselves "Best Rent" NJ that manages a number of large complexes in the mid and southern NJ area. They do distribute critical information to their tenants. One distribution to this business would reach hundreds to Americans.  An added critical aspect to this is many tenants are from other countries (Africa, India, the Orient, South America) etc., and save material of this type as well as make it action items for their homes and families.
