Is this Challenge "Dead in the Water"?

The most recent date for announcing a "winner" for this Challenge, after several date changes, is now 2 weeks overdue. In fairness to all those who jumped on this initiative because they thought FEMA really cared about what they might have to offer, FEMA should commit to a firm date ASAP and post it, or take downt this site and let this Challenge suffer a quiet demise.

    I am not sure.
     
    But, when it comes to preparing a community to respond to a distaster, the 1400+ people already gathered on the Minneapolis Issues Forum have demonstrated how important it is to have vibrant two-way community exchange places well established before disaster strikes. (In this case a tornado.)
